PE (Polyethylene) Is A Common Thermoplastic. It Is Mainly Used In CNC Machining To Manufacture Corrosion-Resistant, Insulating Or Low-Friction Parts, Such As Seals, Gaskets And Customized Containers. Its Soft Properties Require The Use Of Sharp Cutting Tools And Lower Rotation Speeds, Combined With Air Cooling Or Dry Machining To Avoid Overheating And Deformation Of The Material, And Deburring Is Required After Machining. Compared With Metals, PE Has Advantages In Processing Efficiency And Cost, But Is Limited By Its Low Temperature Resistance And Is Mostly Used In Industrial Accessories, Medical Devices And Food-Grade Equipment Components That Do Not Require High Mechanical Strength.
